Guided Imagery for Inner Exploration

When you want to learn more about yourself, solve problems, and discover what makes you tick, guided imagery can be quite useful. In my intuitive consulting sessions with clients people often come to me with a need to make a major life decision, such as whether to move or stay, what career path to take, and so on. Sometimes we’ll use guided imagery, or a “guided inner journey”, to allow them to go inward and test out different scenarios.

Depending upon their individual makeup, they may see, hear, or feel things that suggest how one decision might play out as opposed to another. Used in this way, guided imagery can help people access their own inner resources, and get more information from within than their conscious mind would have for them. For these kind of “decision issues” a live session can tailor the inner journey to one’s specific needs, better than a recording might.

Incidentally, although I am a practicing intuitive, I find that allowing a person to find their own answers in this way is much preferable to “telling them what I see”. I’d much rather use my intuitive ability to help people learn and grow stronger within themselves, than use it to give them answers they could be getting on their own. So if you come to me with wanting to find a mate, for example, I’ll work with you on removing the inner obstacles you might have to being with a partner, and strengthening your ability to accept love in your life, rather than predicting that you’re about to meet a tall dark stranger!
